| Day 1
(22 April) Arrive to Istanbul |
|
|
Welcome to Turkey, arrival into Istanbul. Transfer
from airport & check in to your hotel. Tonight we
have a Welcome Dinner, you will meet our friendly
crew and other travelers while enjoying traditional
Turkish Food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of
Istanbul at night. Overnight in Istanbul

| Day 2
(23 April) Istanbul City Tour |

We depart at 08:30 for the Istanbul city tour.
TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman
sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing
an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and
Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and
their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial
Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining
relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET MOSQUE
Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by
the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE
because of its magnificent interior decoration of
blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the
scene of chariot races, with the three monuments;
the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine
Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break
andthen we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar)
The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of
cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every
other concievable herb and spice. After the tour you
have the option to experience The Bosphorus Cruise.
You will have the chance to enjoy magnificient views
of Bosphorus which is connecting Asia to Europe. The
rest of the evening is your to enjoy Istanbul.

| Day 3
(24 April) Gallipoli |
|
|
We depart for Gallipoli at 07:00. We arrive in Gallipoli for
lunch. We will have a big lunch on the coast of
Gabatepe which is included in the price. We then
start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula.We visit
Kabatepe War Museum , Anzac Cove, Lone Pine
Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post,
Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk-Bair
New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. |
| Day 4
(25 April) Dawn Service |
|
|
Don't forget your warm clothes, wet weather gear and
torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and cold
today as it was 92 years ago when your ancestors
landed.
05:00 Dawn Service.
10:30 Australian National service
11.30 Turkish National Service
12:30 New Zealand National service
After the ceremonies, we will depart for Istanbul,
late arrival into Istanbul and overnight.

(26 April) Istanbul - Home |
|
|
After breakfast check out from the hotel. We hope
