Anzac Day 7 Days

Day 1  (22 April) Arrive to Istanbul
Welcome to Turkiye... You will be greeted with hospitality at the Atatürk International Airport by a Tourka representative and driven into the heart of the old city where you can rest and relax for the remainder of the day. Tonight at 'Welcome Drinks' in your hotel you can meet the rest of your tour group.
Day 2 (23 April)  Istanbul City Tour
AWe depart at 08:30 for the Istanbul city tour. TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and hen we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every
other conceivable herb and spice. After the tour you have the option to experience The Bosphorus Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Bosphorus which is connecting Asia to Europe. The rest of the evening is your to enjoy Istanbul. Over night in Istanbul. Also there is the optional Turkish
Night which should not be missed.
Day 3 (24 April) Gallipoli
We depart for Gallipoli at 07:00.  We arrive in Gallipoli for lunch. We will have a big lunch on the coast of Gabatepe which is included in the price. We then start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula.We visit Kabatepe War Museum , Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk-Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery.
Day 4 (25 April)  Dawn Service
Don't forget your warm clothes, wet weather gear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and cold today as it was 92 years ago when your ancestors landed.

12:30 New Zealand National service
After the dawn service ,we depart for the ancient city of Troy . Your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. After Troy, return to our hotel where we will have dinner The evening is yours.You can enjoy the beach and the pool, relax and have fun with your new friends.
Day 5 (26 April)  Kusadasi
After the breakfast, you can enjoy the beach, pool and sun till 12.00 o’clock . Then departure for Kusadasi. On the way, we will visit one of places which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving center. After that check in to your hotel. Have a rest till dinner time. In the evening, as being one of our optional activities, you will have the chance to experience the traditional Turkish bath. Overnight Kusadasi.
Day 6 (27 April)  Ephesus
We depart at 09:00 and we visit a leather producton center and get an info about the leather production which is also one of the oldest arts in Turkey. Afterwards we set off for one of the best-preserved
ruins in the world ; Ephesus. We tour this amazing site and wonder at the people who built and walked through this ancient city. After the tour, we depart for Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7 (28 April)  Pamukkale
After breakfast, we make our departure at 09.00 to visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. Lunch break. After Lunch we depart for Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 8 (29 April)  Istanbul - Home
