3 Days Ankara - Cappadocia Tour

DAY 1
In the morning visit to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum (It is closed on Mondays. If the guests commence the tour on Monday this museum is visited on the way back to Ankara unless they fly back from Kayseri or Nevsehir) also known as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia, overnight (L, D).
DAY 2
After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley and Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia (B,L, D).
DAY 3
After having breakfast in the hotel drive to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Lunch on the way and return to Ankara. Transfer to the hotel or the airport (B, L).
