The ancient Lycian city of Myra, located near Demre. In 60 or 61 AD, Paul and Luke reembarked from the port of Myra when they were taken to Rome, as prisoners.
Myra (Demre) was the city where St Nicholas lived in the 4th century. Born in Patara, he later became the bishop of Myra.
Located on the Turquoise Coast, Kekova is the most scenic area in Lycia. Kekova is a set of picturesque islands, bays and small ancient cities that the blue voyagers love to explore
Kekova Island has given its name to the surroundings. The place is also called the “Sunken City” as most of the ancient buildings sank in the sea as a result of various earthquakes.

Demre / Myra - Kekova Boat  Tour

Departure in the morning and arrive in Demre to visit the best examples of Lycian tombs at Myra and the Church of St. Nicholas, the saint to whom is referred as Santa Claus. After lunch sail to Kekova Island by which the sunken city Simena and a noteworthy Lycian necropolis at Teimiussa will be seen. There will also be swimming facilities. Late evening return to Antalya.
