For an unforgettable vacation that you can completely
tailor to your own wishes, crewed yacht charter is the
perfect choice.
It’s a unique fusion of first class accommodation and
discreet, attentive service combined with the privacy of
your own yacht and the freedom to set your own programme.
We customise each charter to the exact specifications of
our clients, consulting closely with them to ensure that,
to the very last detail, the yacht and its accommodation,
itinerary and other activities match with their personal
wishes for their vacation or corporate event.
To charter a yacht in Turkey is to choose a holiday that
is wholly exclusive to you. It brings together the
backdrop of a cultural heritage of thousands of years and
spectacular scenery with an on-board lifestyle centred
around the sun, sea and the people you’ve chosen to be
with you.
You choose the yacht with the accommodation and amenities
on board which you require. The captain and crew are
professional sailors, interesting hosts and know all the
secrets of the coastline, and the chef will create
delicious meals just for you, customised to your personal
preferences.
The scenery changes as often as you decide, the pool is
crystal-clear and every colour blue, and the beach is as
crowded or deserted as you wish. In the comfort of your
private yacht, together with your captain, you plan each
day as it comes. Your holiday can be as relaxed or as
active as you desire. There are plenty of things to do,
from energetic water-sports, to simply relaxing with a
good book and a cool drink. Or you may want to get
involved in navigation and sailing, or go ashore and
explore interesting ports of call. It’s entirely up to you
to set the pace.
ABOUT GULETS
Gulets are the characteristic wooden motor-sailing
schooners indigenous to the Eastern Mediterranean.
Constructed mainly in the shipyards of Bodrum, Bozburun,
Marmaris, Istanbul and the Black Sea Coast, they were used
in the past as fishing, sponge diving and cargo vessels.
The traditional design features a distinctive elongated
bow and rounded stern, though many are now built with a
transom (or flat, ketch style) stern. This design makes
them just the thing for relaxing vacations at sea – with
spacious cabins and interior living areas, and sprawling,
uncluttered decks ideal for groups seeking a holiday
lifestyle focussed around the sea, sun and friends
on-board.
The standard of accommodation and amenities on gulets
varies enormously: from no-frills, basic gulets, to those
which are constructed in the traditional style, but offer
living spaces and finishing touches of standards normally
associated with luxury yachts.
Gulets are generally manned by Turkish crews, though some
do have foreign personnel. Many of the captains and crew-members
have grown up in the Turkish gulet charter industry. Their
long experience and in-depth knowledge of the best secrets
of the coastline, combined with a true love of the sea and
the natural Turkish trait of warm hospitality, makes them
entertaining and attentive hosts.
